A Life Remembered
Our beloved mother and wife, JaeHee Jung, has passed away peacefully at the age of 64.
Born in Seoul, South Korea on 07/29/1961, JaeHee lived a full life. A seamstress and tailor by trade, she used her hands and vision to create works of art, from Hasidic attire to wedding dresses.
She loved to express her endless happiness by walking in nature, dancing, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her dog and family.
As a follower of Messianic Judaism, JaeHee was utterly guided by her faith, which she often used as a source of hope in trying times.
She had the misfortune of battling multiple cancers in her later years. But despite the pain and discomfort, she displayed remarkable resilience and her optimism kept her going in the darkest of times.
JaeHee is survived by her devoted husband Young Yang, her dog Habin, and her children Stew Yang and Chris Wirick, Sam Yang and Sunjoo Jung, and Daniel Ahn and Antonia Hernandez. She leaves behind a legacy of boundless love, unrelenting faith, and insurmountable spirit. She was the strongest person we’ve ever known. We will love and miss her forever.
