Patricia McManus McDonald passed away on September 13, 2026, at her residence in Lanett, Alabama. She was born on February 17, 1964, in Washington, D.C., and lived a life marked by love, devotion, and resilient strength. Patricia was 62 years old.

Patricia was the beloved daughter of Peggy McManus and the late Ronald McManus. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Billy Joe McDonald, and her brothers, David McManus and Bob Elmore. She is survived by her devoted children, Billy R. McDonald, Jr., known as R.J., and his wife Madison, Taylor McDonald and his wife Abby, and Emily Horne and her husband Jason. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Maren McDonald, Dallas McDonald, Evelyn Fay McDonald, and Emma Horne. Patricia is survived by her siblings, Jody Elmore and Bryan McManus and his wife Tammy, as well as her mother-in-law, Fay McDonald. She was deeply loved by the love of her life, Billy R. McDonald, Sr., known as Randy, and by her faithful fur baby, Jax.

Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church of Lanett and carried her faith with her in the way she treated others. She was a former employee of West Point Pepperell and later retired from TSYS after 28 years of dedicated service. Her work ethic was admired by many, and her long career reflected the same commitment and reliability that defined her life at home and in her community.

Above all, Patricia was a loving mother and MiMi whose family meant everything to her. She was known as a very supportive football coach mom and proud US Navy mom, always showing up with encouragement, pride, and unwavering loyalty. Those who knew her remember her kindness first, along with her strong will and fierce spirit when the moment called for it. She was loving, kind, and intelligent, and she used those qualities to lift up the people around her.

Patricia’s life was one of devotion to family, faith, and the people she loved most. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and steadfast care that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be treasured always.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the First Baptist Church of Lanett. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor John Samanie will officiate. Patricia’s family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
