Ms. Frances Edith Drake, 88, of Roanoke passed on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Cherry Hill Nursing Home, Birmingham.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at Canaan Baptist Church, Roanoke with Rev. Calvin Trammell officiating. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home.
Ms. Drake is survived by her nieces: Freida Oliver, Birmingham, Olga (Carl) Perry, Douglasville, GA, Reta Drake, Sierra Vista, AZ and a nephew: Willie Edward Morre, Vicenza, Italy and a host of other relative and friends.
