Madilynn Grace Hadaway, known to family and friends as Maddie, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Valley, Alabama at the age of 2. Madilynn was born on September 22, 2023, to Levi Hadaway and Sierra Hill at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious angel. Though her time with us was far too brief, Madilynn filled our lives with immeasurable love, laughter, and happiness. Her bright smile, curious spirit, and joyful heart brought life to everyone who knew her. She had a special way of bringing joy to those around her, and her sweet presence made every day brighter. She taught those around her the purest meaning of love.
Madilynn is survived by her parents Levi Hadaway and Sierra Hill; her sister Nevaeh Heath; her grandparents Gene Hill (Wanda), Ashley Weldon (John), Tiffany Walters (Jessica), Rachel Lockhart (Thomas Vick); her great grandparents Gene Hadaway (Sheryle), Connie Striblin (Tony Albright), James B. Lockhart (Pam); her great-great grandparent Sarah Hadaway; her aunts Cadence Walters (Madison Chandler), Sadie Hill (Jeremiah Antley), Kelley Calhoun (Josh); her uncles Tony “NonkNonk” Hill (Latisha), Ryder Hill, Dylan Holcomb (Hannah), Kyle Riley (Savannah), Hunter Coggin (Gracie Landis), Dillon Hadaway, and Wendell F. Brissel lll.
Madilynn enjoyed playing with dolls, getting dirty in the yard, and living wild and free beside her “besties”, Sofia, Elodie Jean “EJ”, Hadleigh, & Alyza. Madilynn always put up a good fight in arguing over her companion Willow, “my dog!” and claiming her ownership to her special aunts. There was no denying Willow was hers, and she would be missing her the most.
Madilynn is preceded in death by her grandfather, Brandon Hadaway; great-grandparents Rufus Hill “Pops”, John Smith “Pawpaw” (Debra); great-great-grandfather Clinton Hadaway “Grandaddy”. Madilynn leaves behind countless cherished memories that will be held close to our hearts forever. While we grieve the loss of our beloved little girl, we are grateful for the precious moments we shared with her and the love she gave so freely. Her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
