Damon Alan Westbrook, 71, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, passed away at home on June 16, 2026.

Damon worked as a carpenter in the cabinetry industry.

Born in Alabama on September 25, 1954, to Emitt Andrew and Geneva Richardson Westbrook, he carried those Alabama roots with him throughout his life.

He was known for his love of fishing. He especially loved spending time in his garden. Damon touched the lives of many and will leave a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed cheering for his Alabama football team and was a true Crimson Tide fan. Roll Tide!

Damon is survived by his wife, Suzanne T Westbrook; son, Alan Westbrook; daughter, Tiffany Carraway; sisters, Charlotte and Glenda; nephews, Bobby and Bubba.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Butch, Mike, Donnie and David Westbrook.

A private memorial service will be held at home later.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, donate to the charity of your choice in Damon’s memory.

Damon Alan Westbrook’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
