Mr. Douglas Hardnett, 68 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, 1:00 PM CST at Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke, AL, Rev. Elijah Jackson, Jr., Pastor, Rev. Lonnie B. Houston, Officiating, Rev. Bruce Williams, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hardnett leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Cathy Hardnett of Roanoke, AL; children: Dewayne Whitlow (Jessica Gates) of LaFayette, AL, Shwanta Cousins of Wadley, AL, Tiffany (Christopher) Hardentt-Johnson of Roanoke, AL, and Douglas Eugene Hardnett of McDonough, GA; grandchildren: Quandeski Whitlow, Quandarrious Whitlow, Samantha Cousins, SanDavion Hardnett, Rylee Whitlow, Gia Hardnett, Grant Charles, Chrislyn Johnson, C.J.
