Donald Ray Gough – Lanett, AL. Donald was a lifelong resident of the Greater Valley Area, born May 20, 1970.
He was a loving husband, Dad and friend to his children and Pops to his grandchildren.
He and his wife Angela Gunn Gough of twenty-nine years, died in a house fire at their home in the Huguley Community on Monday, April 27, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Gough. His sons, Brandon Gough and Dakota “Cody” Gough. He was also preceded in death by his brother Jerry Alan Gough and his Paternal and Maternal grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Gough and a brother Brian Keith Gough. He also leaves to cherish his memory his surviving children, Brandi Clark (Andy), Kaitlyn Reach (Daniel), Hunter Gough (girlfriend Alison), Miranda Gough (Junior Cardiel) and Andrew Gough. Twenty grandchildren and a niece along with a multitude of friends and extended family members.
Donald was known around the area as a Bails Bondsman, and he worked for many years as a tow truck driver. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He also loved to ride with his motorcycle buddies, enjoying the great outdoors.
The family plans a Celebration of Life on Friday May 1st at 5:00 Eastern Time and also Saturday May 2nd at 2:00 Eastern Time.
