PHENIX CITY, Ala. — Chattahoochee Valley Community College held its 2026 Adult Education Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, May 14, at the IPAC Auditorium on the college campus. Approximately 44 students earned diplomas through the Adult Education program, with 26 graduates participating in the commencement ceremony.
Phenix City Mayor Eddie Lowe was the keynote speaker for the ceremony. He encouraged graduates to continue their education and remain committed to serving their communities.
CVCC President Annette Funderburk congratulated graduates on their perseverance and dedication in reaching this milestone. Funderburk also reminded students that education is something no one can ever take from them and that all graduates receive a course scholarship to continue their education at Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
The determination shown by these students is inspiring,” Funderburk said. “We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to supporting them as they continue their educational journeys.”
