AUBURN-OPELIKA, Ala. — The Auburn Downtown Merchants Association (ADMA) will
host Cheers on the Corner, an annual sip-and-stroll event, on Friday, July 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Auburn. Guests 21 and older are invited to visit over 20 local restaurants, bars and retailers, each offering a unique food and beverage selection, while enjoying live music
throughout the evening.

“What makes Cheers on the Corner so special is that it brings everyone together,” said Jessica Kohn, coordinator for the ADMA. “This event celebrates the culinary scene of our entire community and allows visitors and locals to get a taste of our diverse cuisine.”

Tickets are $45 in advance and go on sale July 6. Day-of tickets will be available for $50 if not sold out. Each ticket includes a souvenir beverage cup and wristband for entry to all tasting stops. Proceeds support local programming, downtown beautification and future community events.

Streets in the event area will be closed to traffic, but retailers and restaurants will remain open to the public. Pedestrians are welcome to enjoy the live music and atmosphere at no cost.

Check-in and event maps will be available near the intersection of College Street and Magnolia Avenue.

Cheers on the Corner has sold out in previous years, so participants are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Tickets can be purchased at downtownauburnonline.com
