Sandra (Paschal) Miles Obituary

Sandra Paschal Miles, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, at the age of 78 in Opelika, Alabama. Born on July 13, 1946, in Roanoke, Alabama, Sandra’s life was marked by her loving, kind, and friendly nature that endeared her to all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Sandra’s greatest joy was found in the company of her family and in the comforting aromas of her kitchen, where she expressed her love through her cooking and baking. A dedicated member of Plant City Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama, her faith was as profound as her commitment to her community.

Sandra leaves behind her husband and best friend of sixty-one years, Willie Claxton Miles, her cherished sons, Scott Miles and Kerry (Lauren) Miles, and a legacy of warmth and generosity. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Brewer Lee (Gertrude) Paschal, and grandparents, Carrie and James Arrington, Claudia and Heber Paschal, and her brother, James Paschal Sr.

Sandra’s memory will be held in the hearts of all who were touched by her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.

Graveside services for Sandra will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2025, at 2:30 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown Service Funeral Home in Valley. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Sandra’s family will receive friends at the visitation on Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:30 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown Funeral Home in Valley.
