Incidents

September 28 – County Road 645, High Shoals Community

RCSO responded to a report of a woods fire. At the scene, a deputy and the property owner discovered a makeshift structure containing an air mattress, clothing and other personal items. Multiple areas were found where small campfires had been set. No one was present at the campsite at the time.

September 30 – Sweetwater Point Drive, Swagg Community

A fire Wednesday evening damaged the garage and siding of a residence.

October 1 – Woodland

A Woodland resident reported unauthorized use of a white 2019 Dodge 1500 that he had not seen since September 28.

October 2 – County Road 299, Swagg Community

A 30- to 40-yard roll-off dumpster was fully involved in fire when responders arrived. Firefighters from Morrison Crossroads and A&M responded. The exterior of a nearby residence sustained smoke damage, and a nearby vehicle sustained heat damage.

October 3 – County Road 100, near R.L. Harris Dam

Two individuals in a side-by-side reportedly dumped yard waste on someone else’s property.

October 4 – County Road 87, Omaha Community

The owner of a gray Ford F-150 that had broken down returned the following morning and discovered the vehicle had been damaged. The windshield was broken, both driver- and passenger-side rearview mirrors were damaged, both taillights were broken and three tires had been punctured.
