Donna Crenshaw Waller Obituary

March 15, 1955 ~ April 9, 2025 (age 70)

Donna Waller, 70, of Cusseta, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025 in Lanett, Alabama. She was born on March 15, 1955, in Opelika, Alabama. Donna is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, George L. Waller, Jr.

Her children, Melanie Norgard, Tracy Bennett (Terrance), and Jeremy Waller, and George Waller III (Rachel).

Donna’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Hayden Hurston (Madison), Dylan Hurston, Bryson Sumner, Garrett Waller, Ashley Waller, and Courtney Waller, who will carry forward the joy and kindness she instilled in them.

Her sister-in-law, Barbara Blankenship, and niece, Carrie Blankenship, will also hold dear the memories of Donna.

Preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Ann Crenshaw, her brother, Charles Crenshaw, and her daughter, Annette Waller. Together, they rest in eternal peace,

Donna found solace in the simple pleasure of sitting outside, breathing in the fresh air, and basking in the tranquility of nature.  She enjoyed playing bingo, cow decor, and Auburn Football.  A fan of WWE Wrestling, she never missed a match, cheering on her favorite wrestlers with enthusiasm. Easter was a special time for Donna, a season of renewal and celebration that she cherished deeply. Donna’s love extended to her furry companion, Peaches, who was more than just a pet but a treasured member of the family.

As we bid farewell to Donna Waller, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that generously loved.  Donna’s memory will be held in the hearts of her loved ones, a treasure more precious than gold.

Donna’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Chattahoochee Hospice, Valley Park Manor, and to her special friend, Samantha Moore, for their excellent care and support.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 2:30 P.M. (EST), at Cusseta Cemetery, Cusseta, Alabama.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M (EST) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama.
