Diane Patterson, 63, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Opelika, Alabama.

She leaves behind memories of love and care throughout her years employed at Joanne Fabric and Crafts.

Diane will be profoundly missed by her devoted and loving partner, Gilbert Ransom; her children, Kevin Piper (Missy), Amanda Capps (Ricky), and Jessica Piper; along with her cherished grandchildren, Chalyb, Skylar, Isabella, Rylee, Ryder, Carson, Brandon, Jazlin, Jaymes, and Jayden, and great-grandchildren, Emberlynn and Brycen. The legacy of her nurturing spirit lives on through her siblings, Wanda Gilbert, Dwayne Patterson, Deborah Wills, and Marlene Sparks.

Diane’s commitment to her family and the joy she brought to those around her will continue to flourish in the hearts of all who knew her. Her luminous presence, although gone from this world, will never be forgotten.
