Sue “Janet” Hammock Nolen, born December 11, 1937, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2026.
A Memorial service will be held at Lake Martin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm the memorial service will start at 2 pm. in the Lake Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend John Sparks will officiate.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Thornton Andrews (Robert); Grandchildren, Lewis Haywood (James), Johnathon Haywood (Isaiah), Misty Macon (Lee), Rachel Andrews (Nick), Molly Eason, and Jenny Joiner; great-grandchildren, Caroline Macon and Mary Katherine. Host of nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her children, Ronnie, Janell and Benny; her Father, William Hammock, Mother, Ellie Bailey, Stepfather, C.E. Bailey; brothers, Donnie Hammock and Calvin Hammock
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at Dadeville Healthcare and Community Hospice. Their kindness, patience, and tender care brought comfort not only to Janet, but to who all loved her.
