LEE COUNTY (September 25, 2026)- On September 15, 2026, an Investigator with the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office (Georgia) reported the sexual abuse of a juvenile that occurred in the 200 Block of Lee Road 446, Opelika, Lee County, Alabama. During the investigation, evidence was obtained that supported allegations as reported.
On September 25,2026, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested and charged Sylvester Emmitt Brown (35) of Opelika, Alabama with (1) count of Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes and (1) count of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree. He is being held in the Lee County Detention Center on a $20,000.00 bond.
