Opelika City Schools celebrated a major milestone today with the groundbreaking of the Fox Run School expansion project!
“This addition marks an exciting step forward as our community continues to grow and as we prepare to serve all fifth and sixth-grade students at the Fox Run campus. This is a joint effort between Opelika City Schools and the City of Opelika, and we are grateful for the city’s continued support and investment in the future of our students and schools.
We were honored to celebrate alongside Fox Run School Principal Mrs. April Brock, Superintendent Dr. Kevin Davis, Mayor Eddie Smith, Senator Randy Price, members of the Opelika City Council, members of the Opelika City Board of Education, district leaders, school staff, community partners, and project partners,” stated Opelika City Schools in a social media post.
“Thank you to Bailey-Harris Construction, SCOUT Program Management, and TurnerBatson Architects for helping to bring this vision to life,” added Opelika Schools.
