Opelika, AL- (May 1, 2026) The Opelika Chamber will host its biggest event of the year, Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Opelika High School Basketball Arena (1700 Lafayette Parkway, Opelika, AL). Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. This annual event brings together local business leaders, community members, and partners to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and recognize outstanding businesses and organizations making an impact in Opelika. The Opelika Chamber will be celebrating 85 years at this year’s Annual Meeting! This year’s presenting sponsor of the Opelika Chamber’s Annual Meeting is State Farm Insurance Agent Christie Ray Hill.

A highlight of the event will be the presentation of several awards, including Emerging Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Employer of the Year, and more. The public was invited to vote on the following award finalists. Voting closed March 27, 2026, and the results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on May 29, 2026.

The Annual Meeting serves as an opportunity to reflect on the Chamber’s progress, share future goals, and honor the businesses that continue to drive growth, leadership, and community connection in Opelika.
