OPELIKA, Ala. – The Opelika Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a theft at Best Buy located at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway.
The incident occurred on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 7:00 PM. According to investigators, the pictured individual allegedly stole approximately $2,800.00 worth of merchandise from the store. The suspect, a black male, can be seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and black clog-style shoes.
Surveillance footage indicates the suspect did not act alone, and investigators believe he was assisted by three accomplices who were not clearly captured on camera due to quality limitations.
