Nathan Cole, 83, of Lanett AL. passed away June 10, 2026, at his home with family.
He was born in Lafayette, AL to the late Edward Cole Sr. And the late Evie Cole. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Auberlene Janet Cole, 2 brothers Edward Cole Jr., Jerry Cole, 3 sisters Marion Gomes, Helen Cole, and Barbara Owens.
He is survived by his sister Caroline Blackmon of Lafayette, AL., son Lawson Cole (Doris) of Lanett, AL., 3 granddaughters; Dixie Cole (Josh Shaddix) of Beulah (Opelika) AL., Emerald Cole-Thompson (Zach) of Greeneville, TN and Linda (Gabbie) Cole of Lanett AL., and several nieces and nephews.
He loved being outside tinkering with anything he could find.
He was a proud Marine and loved his country.
Graveside services for Nathan will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 11:00 AM (EDT) at Lafayette City Cemetery in Lafayette, Alabama. Interment will follow in Lafayette City Cemetery. The Pastor Rusty Letson will officiate.
