Mrs. Sarah Barker, 77 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Barker will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, 1:00 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael T. Stiggers, Pastor; Pastor Keenan West, Eulogist, Rev. Douglas Jones, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.
Mrs. Barker leaves to cherish loving memories to her children, Eric (Carlena) Barker of LaFayette, AL, Brian Barker of Alabama, Andrea Barker-Lee of Montgomery, AL and Andreanna Barker of Dallas, TX; her sister, Christine Ware Vines of Dorchester, MA; grandchildren: Christopher Barker-Lee “Lil Man”, Christiana Barker-Lee “Christi”, Christinae Barker-Lee “Nae Nae”, Christidrea Barker-Lee “KoKo”, Jamall Holmes, Faith Barker and Titus Barker; four great-grandchildren: Kayson Cunninham, Mariah Cunningham, Micah Holmes and Claire Reign Holmes; aunt, Corine Presley of Auburn, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
