Mr. Willie Rufus James, 85, of Wadley died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Lynridge of Huntsville Assisted Living & Memory Care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, AL 77, Wadley at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. William Russell officiating. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home.
