Mr. Gregory Trice, a resident of West Point, GA, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. (EST) from Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church, 703 Avenue K, West Point, GA 31833. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, 800 Austin Street, West Point, GA. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.
Public Viewing is scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (EST) at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
Mr. Gregory Trice was born April 16, 1950, in West Point, Georgia to the parentage of Mr. Ernest Trice, Jr. and Mrs. Charlie Mae Edge Trice. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church in West Point, Georgia.
Mr. Trice was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Minnie Clyde Jones in 1985. This loving union lasted 40 years until his death. He retired from the Troup County Board of Education in May of 2012, after 42 years of dedicated service. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and six siblings, Louella Jackson, William “Bill” Trice, Calvin “Pie” Trice, John “JC” Trice, Earnestine McFarley, and Arthur Edge. Mr. Gregory Trice peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his residence.
He leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving wife, Minnie J. Trice, West Point, GA; one son, Christopher (Yolanda) Trice, Valley, AL; daughters, Patricia Love, Marietta, GA and Sherry Wallace, West Point, GA; grandchildren, Christopher Gregory Trice, Bianca Jones, Brittany Love, and Brianna Wallace; one greatgrandchild, Sailor Jones; one sister, Rebecca Sands, West Point, GA; step-grandchild, LaKendra (Jamaurise) Finley, and their children– Jayden, Parker, Kaitlyn, and Laila; and, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
