April 27, 1966 ~ July 30, 2026 (age 60)

Mary Rush Frazier was born to the late Rosa Mae Sampson and the late Dave Rush on April 27th, 1966, at John Andrews Hospital in Tuskegee, Alabama. She confessed and accepted Christ at an early age at The Church of Christ in Tuskegee. Mary, affectionately known as “Granny” and “Mrs. Mary”, attended Lewis Adams Elementary School, Tuskegee Public School and graduated from Tuskegee Institute High School. From there, she earned her Business Administration Certification from Southern Vocational College and Certification in Cosmetology from Southern Union State Community College. She completed her Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Columbus State University. Her last educational venture was studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Georgia State University.

She departed on July 30th, 2026. She was preceded in death by Brothers: Edward Sampson, Mark J. Rush, Roosevelt Rush, David Rush, Larry Rush, Robert Rush, David Rush and Michael Rush.

Mary Rush Frazier will be dearly missed in our hearts by all who loved and cherished her and her memories, including two Daughters, Tiffany Rush of Beauregard, AL, Tomekia Rush and one Son, Marcus Rush both of Auburn, AL; Six Grandchildren, DeVonte’ Rush, Ventrel Rush, Jacinta Rush, Azariah M. Rush, Brenzinski Rush and Briaziah Rush; three great-grandgirls, Journi Rush, Azariah “Lil Zari” A. Rush, Ziallynn Rush, all of Tallahassee, Florida, and One Great- Grandson, Levi Rush, of Columbus, Ga. As well as two Brothers, Joe Lewis Rush and Jimmy (Lisa) Rush and two Sisters, Marie Rush and Cynthia Rush all of Tuskegee AL., and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
