LAFAYETTE- On Saturday, LaFayette Main Street hosted its 3rd annual Jr. Miss and Miss LaFayette Main Street Pageant at LaFayette High School. Kimber Leigh Knight was crowned Jr. Miss LaFayette Main Street, and Chasidy Lewis was named Miss LaFayette Main Street.

“These young ladies shone on stage with confidence, poise, beauty, and grace. We are incredibly proud of each contestant who participated and represented themselves so well throughout the competition. Thank you for sharing your talents, smiles, and personalities with us this evening. Congratulations to our new queens! We look forward to watching you serve as ambassadors for LaFayette Main Street and our community in the coming year,” said LaFayette Main Street Executive Director DeAnna Hand.

Hand also expressed gratitude to all the contestants, families, volunteers, sponsors, judges, and supporters for helping make the 2026 Miss LaFayette Main Street Pageant such a wonderful success.

“This is truly a dream come true, and I can’t wait to join such an amazing legacy,” said Kimber Leigh Knight, the newly crowned Jr. Miss LaFayette Main Street.

An emotional Miss LaFayette Main Street, Chasidy Lewis, spoke with East Alabama News following the pageant about her crowning. “I don’t have the words, just lots of tears. I can’t believe it actually happened, so thank you,” said Lewis.

The newly crowned Miss LaFayette Main Street represented the City of LaFayette and LaFayette High School at Alabama Girls State last week in Montgomery.

Next up for Jr. Miss and Miss LaFayette Main Street are the Summer Food Truck Festival, followed by the music crawl and holiday celebrations.
