Funeral service for Darrel Scott, 59, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Saint Luke C.M.E. Church, 213 North Donahue Drive, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 West View Drive, Auburn, AL 36832, Reverend Tony Longshore, Pastor, Reverend Desmond Scaife, Eulogist.

Mr. Scott, who passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at his home in Auburn, Alabama, was born October 29, 1966, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 31, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Scott will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, DeQuala Stinson, Danasia Pitts and J’yanua Pitts all of Auburn, AL; three grandchildren, Elauna Stinson, Treasure Stinson and Cuban Gary all of Auburn, AL; father, Fred (Angela) Bostick of Kennesaw, GA; four sisters, Cynthia Scott, Katherine Scott (Tommie) both of Auburn, AL, Suchanda Bostick of Marietta, GA and Janae Bostick (Carlos) of Palm Harbor, FL; four brothers, Gregory Scott of San Diego, CA, Damien Bostick (Vicky) of Austell, GA, Terecio Bostick of Kennesaw, GA and Keeton McNeal of Marietta, GA; one uncle, Lawrence Grace (Diane) of Cordora, TN; nephews, Tavoris Scott, LaDarien “LD” Scott (Kelsy), Dustin Scott, Jemal Vinson, Quinton Scott (Gerri), Geoffery Favors, Jr., Dakota Favors, Damien “DJ” Bostick, Jr., Timmy Brewer and Kenyon Bostick; nieces, Jasmine Scott, LaShonda Scott, Chasity Vinson, Kierra Scott, Kynslee Miller, Chelsey Jordan (Eric), Kionna Bostick, Kynnedy Bostick, Kyndall Bostick and Kyndrix Miller; a devoted friend, Tyrone Owens of Auburn, AL; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, special cousins and friends.
