CHAMBERS COUNTY- On Wednesday, the Chambers County School District honored the retirees of 2026.
“Today, we take a moment to celebrate a very special group of people. As the school year comes to an end, we say a bittersweet goodbye to this remarkable group. These educators and staff members have dedicated decades to inspiring our students, supporting our classrooms, and making Chambers County Schools a better place. We are forever grateful for the heart and soul you’ve invested in our community,” stated Superintendent Dr. Sharon Weldon and the Board of Education.
The following individuals were celebrated:
– Ellen Emfinger – 33 years of service in Chambers County
– Tammy Hughley – 28 years of service in Chambers County
– Jennifer Allen – 25 years of service in Chambers County
– Courtney Corbin – 25 years of service in Chambers County
– Janice Oliver – 25 years of service in Chambers County
– Mark Lisenby – 19 years of service in Chambers County
– Vicky Davidson – 10 years of service in Chambers County
– Roger Walker – 10 years of service in Chambers County
– Tarrence Darden – 6 years of service in Chambers County
– Eddie Daniel – 3 years of service in Chambers County
