In Loving Memory of Abbiegail Grace Jackson

Abbiegail Grace Jackson, lovingly known as Abbie, was born on November 1, 2006 in Opelika, Alabama. From the moment she entered this world, she captured the hearts of her family, friends, and a community that came to love her deeply. Though her life was filled with challenges, Abbie served a beautiful purpose on this earth. She taught everyone around her about unconditional love, strength, perseverance, and the beauty of a life that does not need words to make an impact.

Abbie was nonverbal, but she had a language all her own. Through her beautiful eyes and her big smile, she could communicate more than words ever could. Her smile could light up a room, and her presence had a way of touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She reminded us that some of the most powerful voices are not spoken, but felt.

For 19 years, Abbie fought hard. She faced every day with a strength that inspired those around her and left an imprint on countless lives. Her journey was not always easy, but through it all, she was surrounded by love.

Abbie is preceded in death by her Paw Paw, Dale Jackson; grandmother, Terry Lee Walls Martin; her great-grandparents, Haward and Nora Jackson; and her great-grandmother, Diane Rowan.

Abbie is survived by her parents, Danielle Jackson and Ken Spratlin (Nikki); her three brothers, Anderson McAlister (7), Elijah McAlister (6), and Max Spratlin (12); her longtime stepfather and father figure, Christopher Thomas; her grandmothers, Tammy Jackson and Cathy Blumenthal; her aunt, Samantha Lowe (Matthew); and many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Although our hearts are heavy and we will miss her deeply, our hearts also shout with joy, knowing that while it may be the end of her journey here on earth, from her mommy’s arms to the gates of Heaven, it has only just begun.

We find comfort in knowing that she has been made whole and is forever reunited with her Paw Paw. We raise our hands to the sky and praise Jesus that she is forever healed!

Until we meet again, we’ll be loving you.

God is good, and He is faithful!

A funeral service for Abbie will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 beginning at 3:00 PM CST. A visitation will be held two hours prior from 1:00-2:45 PM CST in the parlor.
