Funeral service for Reginald Griffin, 56, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend V. Dion Gilbert will officiate.
Mr. Griffin, who passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born June 24, 1970, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Griffin will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: five children, Shantoria (Jeffrey) Hunter-Berry, Cortavious Griffin, Jadavious Wilson all of Opelika, AL, Jeremiah James Scott of Auburn, AL and Shakeera Griffin of San Deigo, CA; three grandchildren, LaBrandon Shipman, Regahn Berry and Jaxson Wilson; mother, Ovalia Grady of Auburn, AL; four sisters, Natashia Griffin of Auburn, AL, Shawand (Tyrone) Thornton of Orlando, FL, Dionne Witherspoon of Opelika, AL and Daphene Hardnett of Auburn, AL; one brother, Christopher Pitts of Auburn, AL; one aunt, Doreen Macon of Opelika, AL; one uncle, Hughe (Wendy) Ogletree of Phenix City, AL; devoted cousin, Dominic (Caletta) Macon of Opelika, AL; two devoted friends, Lonnie Love of Auburn, AL and Maurice Morgan of Montgomery, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
