Mrs. Linda Faye Ware, 68 of Opelika, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Ware will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 12:00 PM CST at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Bernard Harris, Pastor; Rev. Rodney Thomas, Sr., Officiating; Rev. Justin Freeman, Eulogist.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Ware leaves to cherish her memory: her father, William A. Ballard of Five Points, AL; her husband, Franklin Ware Jr, of Opelika, AL; her daughter, Shaniece (Wallace) Ware of Lithonia, GA; her grandson, Isaiah Mahoney of Lithonia, GA; two sisters, Mary Trammell and Penelope Ballard and three brothers, Joe Frank Ballard, Jimmy Ballard, and Andrew Ballard all of Lafayette, AL; a special aunt, Mae V. Ballard of Five Points, AL; a special, uncle Charlie Joe (Annie) Ballard of Decatur, GA; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lynda (Dewayne) Vines of Opelika, AL, Mary Frances (Edward) Heard of Dadeville, AL, and Shirley Cadenhead of Camp Hill, AL; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Ware of Opelika, AL, and Chris ( Rose) Ware of Jacksonville, FL; special nieces: Lorie( Jerome)Story , Betty Ballard, Angela Ballard, Tasha Harris, Sara Ann Ballard, Mishay Ware, Christy( Dontae) Askew, Jessica Webb, Yashica (Cardia) Bruce, Conyona Ware, Taneisha Ware, Brandice Ware, and Tatiana Hughley; special nephews: Timmy Ballard, Steve Ballard, Walter Ballard, Charles Ballard, William Ballard, Lamar Ballard, Christian Ware, and Rashad (Adoria) Hughley; special cousin, Doris (Joseph) Evans and a special friend, Marilyn Winsley; and a host of family and friends who she cherished and loved deeply.
