Yvonne Strong 75 of Valley, Alabama, passed away August 31, 2026, at UAB hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born April 13, 1951, in Langdale, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her Father Clinton Hubbard, her husband Donald Strong, and her son David Strong.
She is survived by her mother Barbara Sparks, and her brothers Alan Hubbard and Berry Hubbard, her daughter Sandy Enos (Navion Cooper), her daughter-in-law Tina Crumbie, and her grandchildren Athena Taylor, Laymon (Lee) Powers, Nathan Strong (Courtney Strong), Serena Enos, Raegan Strong, Sam Enos, James Enos, and her great grandchild Colton Strong, a number of nieces and nephews, many members of the Sparks family. Yvonne Strong was a loving, caring and godly woman.
She was a daughter, a mother, a sister and mawmaw to her grandchildren.
She was married to Donald Strong for 27 years.
She showed kindness to everyone she met; it didn’t matter who they were. She worked as a substitute teacher and in the garden center at Walmart in Valley, Alabama.
Funeral services for Yvonne will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Chapel in Valley, Alabama. Interment will follow at Johnson Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Valley, Alabama. Mrs. Yvonne’s family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, September 4th, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. (EDT) until the service hour at Johnson Brown-Service in Valley, Alabama.
