OPELIKA, Ala. – The family of Tykerrious Sentez Ray, known to friends and family
as “Ty,” is issuing a plea to the public for any information regarding his missing
persons case out of Roseburg, Oregon.
Ty grew up in the Beulah Community of Lee County, Alabama, before relocating
to Oregon in 2021. He was last seen by a friend on Thursday, December 28, 2023,
in Roseburg. His mother, Sharon Pitts, filed an official missing persons report on
December 30, 2023, after being alerted by Ty’s friends that he could not be
reached.
Shortly after his disappearance, Ty’s white Dodge Durango was discovered
abandoned on private property in the 3000 block of Old Hwy 99 in Roseburg,
Oregon. His cell phone and personal belongings were recovered inside the
vehicle.
Prior to his disappearance, Ty had indicated to friends in December 2023 that he
was experiencing relationship difficulties and was staying with friends in the area.

• Gender/Race: Male, Black
• Height/Weight: Approximately 6’4″, 170lbs
• Hair/Eyes: Brown eyes, brown hair (Note: Ty had cut off his dreadlocks
prior to going missing)
• Distinguishing Marks: Facial scar on right cheek; tattoo of the
name “Ashley” on his upper arm
• Vehicle: White Dodge Durango (Recovered)
Ty turned 31 years old this past March. His family remains desperate for answers
and is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and
conviction in connection with his disappearance.
Although there is no evidence that a crime related to this case occurred in
Alabama, the Opelika Police Department is sharing this information on behalf of
his mother, Sharon Pitts, in hopes of reaching individuals in Oregon or elsewhere
who may hold critical information.
