It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Shirey Williams, who departed this life on June 26, 2026, at the age of 72. Terry was born on October 25, 1953, and throughout her life was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Terry dedicated 35 years of her career to West Point Stevens, where she was respected for her hard work, dedication, and commitment. She took pride in her work and built lasting friendships throughout her years there.
Terry had a generous heart and a gift for making everyone feel loved and welcome. Her family was the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with them. She especially cherished every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, creating treasured memories, and surrounding them with unconditional love. Terry also had a special place in her heart for her beloved pets, whose companionship brought her comfort and joy throughout the years. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Terry is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael Williams; her loving daughters, Christie Hale (Victor Hale) and Melissa Morgan; her cherished grandchildren, Kayla James (Chris James), Hezekiah Morgan, Elijah Morgan (Jasmine Smith), Quinton Hale (Saralye Hale), Morgan Hale, Zayden Morgan, Cody Hale, and Bear Hale; her precious great-grandchildren, Conner James and Braxton James; her beloved sister, Kathy Wall; her brother-in-law, Danny Williams; her cherished aunts, Sara Duffey and Lemerle Fulghum; her cherished uncle, Perry Duffey; her lifelong best friend, Margaret McDonald; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the countless memories Terry gave us, the lessons she taught us, and the love she shared so freely. Her strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the remarkable woman she was. Though she is no longer with us in body, Terry Shirey Williams will forever remain in our hearts. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will be a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of life for Terry will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama. The Pastor Jacob Burdette will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfax Cemetery. Mrs. Terry’s family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama.
