TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII Women’s Golf Championship enters its final round Friday with defending national champions, Shelton State Community College (+94), holding a comfortable 13-stroke lead over Murray State CC (+107) of Oklahoma. Three other Alabama community colleges – Wallace State (+138), Southern Union, and Jefferson State (+153) round out the top 5.

   

Individually, Katie Hallmark (Shelton State) leads the way at +11, three strokes ahead of Southern Union’s Kylee Lynn (+14). Other Alabama players in the running for the individual national title include Wallace State’s Mallory Brooks (+17) and Shelton State’s Emma Bark (+18).

The 2026 Division II Women’s National Golf Championship is being held at Ol’ Colony Golf Course in Tuscaloosa.
