OPELIKA, AL – The Opelika Police Department, in conjunction with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Auburn Police Department, will hold a Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Opelika Public Library.

This annual event serves as a solemn tribute to the men and women in law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The ceremony will feature remarks from local law enforcement leadership and a keynote address from Chris Inabinett, Director of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation.
