Over the weekend, Valley Local hosted its 3rd Annual Valley Fest, featuring multiple artists with headliner country music recording artist Priscilla Block.
“It was really good and exciting for everyone who attended. We truly appreciate your support, as it takes a lot of work and money to organize an event like this. As for the event, it looks like we will be breaking even, which is a win in my book since this was a $75,000 event.
This festival is a wonderful way to bring our community together for a fun three-day event and allows us to give back financially by sponsoring various activities and sports in our community.
Valley Fest is the group’s biggest fundraiser, with some of the proceeds going to several local causes. I want to thank all those who attended, as well as the vendors and artists who performed. Thank you!
I know the attendance was not what we expected. We sold a lot of tickets, but not everyone showed up in person, which is understandable considering the weather and other events happening this weekend.
Every event we do teaches us something, and we’re already making adjustments for next year to make Valley Fest 2027 even better,” said Valley Local co-founder Sara Crutchfield.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, sponsored, performed, vended, shared our posts, prayed for us, and supported Valley Fest 2026 this past weekend. Your presence and belief in what we are building meant more than words can express.
We are especially grateful to our sponsors and to those who truly understand our mission. Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, giving back to our community in meaningful ways. While this year did not allow us to give back financially in the way we had planned, the heart behind the effort has never changed.
We worked incredibly hard to provide an event with food trucks, vendors, and entertainment for all ages. Even so, every event teaches valuable lessons. What we’ve learned is this: no weekend is ever the “perfect” weekend to host an event, you can’t please everyone, and growth often comes with lessons. Because of that, it’s back to the drawing board as we plan future fundraising events so that we are able to give back to our community the way we intend to.
Thank you for standing with us, believing in the mission, and understanding that building something for our community is a journey, not a single moment”, added Crutchfield.
