WEST POINT, Ga. — West Point police are investigating an alleged assault and prostitution operation at a local business that led to multiple interviews, a search warrant, and the arrest of the business manager.

According to the West Point Police Department, officers responded around 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, to Aroma Sauna, located at 308 West Eighth Street, after a report of an assault.

Police said a man reported he went to the business seeking a massage for an injury sustained the previous day. He told officers that after entering the business, he was directed to a room where he was later quoted prices for services that caused him concern. The man stated he attempted to leave the business, at which point three women allegedly confronted and assaulted him as he tried to exit.

The man reported that during the altercation, the women attempted to reach into his pockets to take his wallet and a video recording device. He also stated that a necklace he was wearing was broken during the incident. Police said the man was able to activate his personal recording device and capture part of the encounter before exiting the business and calling 911.

Captain Terry Hunt and Detective Michael Sarno responded to the scene. Investigators identified the business manager as Moo Sun Lee, who denied the allegations. Lee told officers that the other women involved had left the business through a rear exit and that she did not know their whereabouts.

Lee was detained while officers secured the business and obtained a search warrant. Investigators later identified and interviewed two women who voluntarily came to the police department. According to police, both provided consistent information regarding how the business operated, including pricing and services.

Police allege the investigation revealed that Lee managed the operation and controlled the distribution of money received from customers. A search warrant executed at the business resulted in the collection of evidence, including cellular phones, phone numbers, and photographs of items investigators said were related to prostitution. All evidence was documented prior to collection.

Moo Sun Lee has been arrested and charged with the following:
• Trafficking of persons for labor or sexual servitude (felony)
• Keeping a place of prostitution (misdemeanor)
• Simple battery (misdemeanor)
• Obstruction of an officer (misdemeanor)
• Pimping (misdemeanor)
• Giving massages in a place used for lewdness or prostitution (misdemeanor)

The investigation remains ongoing.
