According to Chambers EMA, a shift in the weather pattern to the north will result in fewer threats for Chambers and Lee Counties.

In East Alabama, rain is expected to occur mainly from today through Sunday, which may lead to issues with black ice for travel late Sunday night and into Monday morning. There is a slight possibility that light rain could transition to freezing rain or a mix of rain and snow as temperatures drop significantly before the rain ends, particularly from Sunday night into Monday morning. Expect temperatures to plummet from 50°F to 23°F, and wind chill will make it feel even colder. The high on Monday is expected to be 39°F, with a low of 16°F, which increases the risk of black ice on Sunday night and Monday morning.

For tonight, Friday, and Saturday, the lows are forecast to remain above freezing, with temperatures expected to be 46°F on Thursday, 39°F on Friday, and 36°F on Saturday.
