Tonya Renee Alewine McGraw Obituary

July 4, 1973 ~ March 31, 2025 (age 51)

Tonya Renee Alewine McGraw, 51, of Valley, AL, passed away Monday March 31, 2025. Tonya was born on July 4th and from day one, she was a firecracker! She loved deep and left a mark everywhere she went. To know her, was to love her! She was a beloved Mother, Daughter, MiMi and sister. Her greatest accomplishment in life, was her four boys – Matthew, Josh, Brandon and Zach. She loved them with every fiber in her being!

Tonya is survived by her mother, Shelly Alewine; children, Matthew (Peyton) McGraw, Josh (Ariel) McGraw, Brandon and Zach McGraw; Her sister Brandy (Daniel) Booth; her grandchildren Hollis and Greyson McGraw (Matthew), Gunnar McGraw, Kollin White, Amberlin Ottinger and Michael Rhett Ezell (Josh). Her sister-in-law, Tina Alewine, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Tonya is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Alewine and her brother Chris Alewine.

Funeral services for Tonya will be held on Friday April 11, 2025, at 2:30 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. Tonya’s family will receive friends at the visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown Funeral Home in Valley.
