December 13, 1957 ~ April 8, 2026 (age 68)
Tim Brown, age 68, of Valley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. Born on December 13, 1957. Tim lived a life that reflected kindness, humility, deep faith, and genuine love for others above all else.
Tim was the kind of person people were naturally drawn to. He never met a stranger, and it was impossible to meet him and not like him. Though he could be soft-spoken, his presence left a lasting impression. He had a pure heart, the kind that showed up in small, meaningful ways: in his generosity, in his loyalty, and in the way he made people feel seen and valued. Those who knew Tim well knew he also carried a subtle, unexpected sense of humor. He didn’t always say a lot, but when he did, he could catch you off guard and make you laugh in a way that stayed with you. It was part of what made him so special…his ability to bring joy in the most genuine, unassuming way.
Tim loved deeply. He found joy in the things that mattered to him, like traveling with The Brown Brothers Quartet, cheering on Alabama football with unwavering loyalty, and spending time with the special friends he built lasting relationships with at Lakewood Senior Living, friendships that were truly his own.
He also spent decades bowling, where he proudly achieved a high score of 290 (and made sure you knew it!). These weren’t just hobbies; they were pieces of a life filled with passion, connection, and memories shared with others. He was a faithful member of West End Baptist Church, where he served as an usher for 20 years, always greeting others with a warm and welcoming spirit. Tim was also known for his remarkable dedication to his work, never missing a day in over 30 years, a reflection of his commitment and dependable nature.
Above all, Tim will be remembered for how he treated people. He loved well, gave freely, and carried himself with a kindness that left a mark on everyone he met. In his own quiet way, he touched more lives than he ever realized, and that impact will continue to be felt by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Tim is survived by his son, Bradley Timothy Brown; his brother, Keith Murry Brown and wife Teressa; and his sister, Detra Mae Brown and husband Meade. He also leaves behind two nephews, two nieces, three great-nephews, three great-nieces, and a host of cousins who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He will be deeply missed…but never forgotten.
