Ronnie Edwin Oliver, born February 12, 1948, in Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 77.
Ronnie is survived by his children: Nancy Yarnell (Steve Rich), Amy Davis (Jay), and Steve Yarnell (Heidi); his grandchildren, Hunter Yarnell, Chase Davis, Carlee Yarnell (Steven Wiles), and
Chelsee Thomas (Christian); and his great-granddaughter, Cambri Rae Thomas. He is also survived by his sisters, Betsy Maddox (Gary) and Susan Thornton, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Oliver; his father, Raymond Oliver; and his brothers, Bobby Oliver and Neal Oliver.
Ronnie lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, a love of the outdoors, and a steadfast dedication to his family.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Ronnie’s honor.
