Robin Elise Mayfield Reynolds, 67, of Auburn, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.
Robin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and educator whose life overflowed with love, laughter, and adventure. For more than 30 years, she dedicated herself to the field of education, inspiring countless students and colleagues with her passion for learning and her unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, M. Cecil Mayfield and Margaret Christenberry Mayfield Brown.
Robin is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Michael C. Reynolds; daughters Lauren (Will) Faulkner and Melissa Reynolds Rhodes; and her cherished grandchildren Corbin Elise Rhodes, Granville Lane Rhodes, Mattie Eloise Faulkner, and Macallen Elizabeth Faulkner. Loving brothers Rick Mayfield (Holly) and Russ Mayfield (Shelby), along with many loving extended family members.
Robin loved warm summer days and treasured time on the lake— boating, enjoying water sports, and tubing with her grandchildren filled her days with joy. Robin also had a remarkable artistic spirit and delighted in bringing her creative imagination to life.

Visitation will be held at Jeffcoat Trant Funeral Home on January 12th from 5:30-7:30 PM CST. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 13, 2026 at the Auburn United Methodist Church in the main sanctuary at 10:00 AM CST. Burial will follow at Town Creek Cemetery.
