Patricia Hill Shaddix, 80, of Valley, AL passed away June 19th, 2025, at EAMC Opelika.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Billy Shaddix; her daughter, Stacey (Andre) Russell; her grandchildren, Julia (Scott) Green, Joshua Shaddix, Andreana Russell, and Braylee Russell; her great grandchildren, Destiny Green and Junior Green; her daughters in law, Lisa Shaddix and Paula Shaddix; her sisters and brother, Peggy Sellers, Debra Sapp and Richard Duffee; and her special uncle, Richard Hill.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Wayne and Randy; her parents, Anita Duffee and William Hill; brothers, Tommy Hill and Jimmy Duffee; and her grandparents, Luther & Effie Hill and Slim & Era Hubbard.
She worked for West Point Pepperell for many years until she took a leap of faith and bought her own flower shop “Pat’s Creations” in 1995 that she operated with her daughter, husband, and grandchildren. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shaddix will be held on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, at 2:30 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 1:30 PM (EST) until the service hour.
