OPELIKA, Ala. – On November 7, 2025, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, First degree, which occurred at Home Depot-Penske, located at 2190 Tiger Town Parkway. On October 12, 2025, a Penske Truck was rented at this location with a return date of October 15, 2025, but was never returned.
“Through the investigation, it was determined that the individual used a fraudulent driver’s license and a stolen credit card to rent the vehicle”, said Opelika Police in a press release.
Surveillance video shows a black male with facial hair wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, gray pants, and Nike Air Ken Griffey Max 1 shoes.
