On January 29th, 2026, at approximately 1:37 PM, an employee with the Lee County Department of Human Resources filed a report with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office regarding sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old, that possibly occurred in the 1300 block of Lee Road 1 in the Loachapoka community of Lee County. During the investigation, evidence was obtained that supported the allegations as reported to DHR.

On February 20th, 2026, Investigators arrested and charged Quintevas Jacquez Phillips (33) from Notasulga on One (1) count of Sexual Abuse of a Child less than 12, Seven (7) counts of Production of Pornography with Minors, Seven (7) counts of Possession of Child Pornography and One (1) count of Sodomy First Degree. He is being held in the Lee County Detention Center without bond, awaiting an Aniah’s Law hearing.
