Ms. Della Mae Barnes, 63 of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Piedmont Columbus Midtown Hospital, Columbus, Georgia.

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Ms. Barnes will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, 2:00 PM EST at New Dimensions Worship Center. Bishop Donald Lancaster, Pastor/Eulogist. Pastor Terry Tucker, Officiating.

Interment will follow funeral service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, AL.

Her beautiful memories will be cherished by: companion, Charles Copeland; children, LaFavor Taylor (Robert) Martin, Davonte Allen, Makayla Truitt, Shamya Johnson, Jessica Lampkin, and LaKisha Jacobs; grandchildren, Dontavious Billingsley, Ma’Stephon Taylor, Mar’Quayvontay Thomas, Johntavious (Kinny) Simmons, Jonquavious Barnes, Jamonica Barnes, Stantavious Roberts, Damonie Barnes, Darnika Hutchinson, and Brianna Dunn; brothers, Clarence (Lasheika) Barnes, Micheal Barnes, Freddie Barnes, Bernard Barnes, Larry Barnes, Tommy Barnes, Donald Barnes, Arthur Barnes, Terry Barnes; sisters, Glenda Joe Slaton and Zelda (Napoleon) Patterson; 15 great grandchildren; Aunt Gertha Rudd; special nieces, Betty Dooley, Tonya Gibson, Kendra Moreland, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
