It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Faye Champion, a devoted mother, loving wife, and cherished family member, who left us peacefully on October 12th , 2024 . She was married to James “Jimmy” Champion, her loving husband who predeceeded her in death . Faye’s life was a remarkable testament to unconditional love, kindness, and the spirit of family.
Born a nurturing soul, Faye embraced her role as a mother with unyielding devotion. Her love for her children—Rowdy Champion, Jeff Champion, and Lisa Champion—was exemplary. She was their biggest supporter and a guiding light through every challenge and triumph. Faye’s warmth and care extended beyond her immediate family; she fostered close relationships with her three brothers, Gary Irvin (Wanda), Lenwood Irvin (Mildred), and Danly Irvin (Debra), demonstrating the deep bonds of sibling love.
As a grandmother and great-grandmother, Faye found pure joy and fulfillment in her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her laughter echoed during family gatherings, and her nurturing spirit will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she cherished. Faye taught invaluable lessons in compassion, resilience, and the importance of family that will continue to guide her loved ones in the years to come.
