Mr. Lindsey Brooks, 69 passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Lake Martin Community Hospital, Dadeville, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Mr. Brooks will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, 11:00 AM CST at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Truely Finley, Pastor. Reverend Gregory Sutton, Officiant and Eulogist.

Interment will follow funeral service in church cemetery.

Lindsey leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Latranda Griffin Flakes of Opelika, AL, and Shabrisha Hughley-Brooks of Richmond, VA, grandson, Tyler Flakes of Opelika, AL, great granddaughter, Zaneli Flakes of Birmingham, AL, brother, Roger (Vanessa) Presley of Opelika, AL, three sisters, Mattie Echols of Camp Hill, AL, Ruby Huguley of LaFayette, AL, Nanette Ware of Cusseta, AL, three aunts, Bernice Malone of Mobile, AL, Shirley Finley and Doris Brooks both of LaFayette, AL, sisters-in-law, Johnnie Mae Sutton of Lafayette, AL, Mae Presley of Opelika, AL, and Gwendolyn Presley of LaFayette, AL, special niece, Tara Brooks of Auburn, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
