Mr. Larry (Wet Back) Hurston passed away on Monday, April28, 2025 at his residence.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Hurston will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, 3:00 p.m. EST at New Dimensions Worship Center in Valley, Alabama, Bishop Donald Lancaster, Pastor | Officiating, Reverend Corey Huguley, Eulogist.

Mr. Hurston leaves cherished memories with his three sons, Eric Terran Huguley of Lanett, AL, Jeremy Hurston of Opelika, AL and Galvin (Juicy) Brooks of Valley, AL, his brothers, Johnny (Barbara) Hurston and Eddie Hurston, both of Lanett, AL, and Milton Glaze of Hopkins, KY, his sisters, Edna Hurston and Charlene Hurston, both of Lanett, AL, and Theresa Goodson of Washington, DC, four grandchildren, Brittany (Jarod) Moreland of Lanett, AL, Jasmine Hicks Huguley of Dothan, AL, Emetris Maleek Huguley of Phenix City, AL and Rebekah Simone Huguley of Birmingham, AL, seven great-grandchildren, special friend/ex-wife, Marylyn Brooks, a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
