Mr. Homer Harris, 72 of Opelika, AL passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mr. Harris will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, 12:00 PM CST at Greater Peace Baptist Church in Opelika, AL, Rev. Dr. Clifford E. Jones, Pastor, Rev. Terry L. Magby, Eulogist, Rev. Dr. Melvin Owens, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika, AL.
Mr. Harris leaves cherished memories with his wife, Barbara, Opelika Al, four daughters, LaShanda Calloway of Opelika, Al, Valerie (Tommy) Frederick of Atlanta, Ga, Felina (Rodney) Meredith, of Valley, Al, & Shekevia (Alonzo) Bonner, of Opelika, Al, a sister, JoAnn Foreman, of Opelika, Al, 2 brothers, James Harris and Jerome Harris, both of Opelika, Al, five grandkids, four great grandkids, one great-great grandson & a host of nieces & nephews.
