Marshall’s Opens in Valley

This is just the beginning”, said Chambers County Economic Director Chris Busby, following the Grand Opening of Marshall’s in the Valley Shopping Center South in Valley on Thursday.

Marshall’s now joins Five Below which opened last month next to the the retail store,

“We have needed to increase the shopping in our shopping in Valley and Mashall’s will defintley help with that”, said Valley Mayor Leonard Riley.

According to Riley, eight or nine new businesses will be locating to Valleyover the next six or seven months along with  four new subdivisions.

The CCDA announced in May 2024 that four businesses would be coming to the shopping center including Marshall’s, Five Below, PetSense and Express Oil. According to Busby, PetSense will be opening next to Marshall’s later this year.

The expansion of Valley Shopping Center South will add 40,000 square feet of new retail space with an investment of over $10,000,000 and thepossibility  of over 200 new jobs created.
